The Senior Center Saga Continues....

We had a red sky this morning....

 but no storm warning.

I squeezed in a short bike ride before class.

 Progress all around.

15 minutes after everyone left, my neighbor Bob S. arrived and we headed for the Chili Senior Center.  Met 4 others there.

Loved the entrance.  Some of the seniors who go to Florida for the winter leave their plants here.

Below on the left, is Mary Ann Sears, the center director and human dynamo.  Next to her is Jean B., one of our committee members and an ex Town Supervisor for the Town of Sweden.

We were given a tour and had a chance for some conversation.
Picked up so many great ideas.
Panara Bread donates to the center on every Friday.
 The kitchen was spotless.
How's that for a big trip?
This was a very worthwhile trip.
Took a breather when I got home, then wrote a letter to the editor regarding our public meeting.

Chicken soup...
and a Saint Tim favorite salad.  Spinach, grapes, apples, craisins and a little extra sharp cheddar cheese.  I can see him drooling now!
Chores at 7.  It was almost dark.

Tucked in the girls and am watching "The Voice."  A local girl (Rochester) is supposed to be performing.  She and her local band did a photo shoot at the farm for a CD cover and Abbe was in the pictures.  Can't wait to see Amanda.
Night all.

One Thing At A Time

I guess you are going to have to put up with these beautiful morning shots a little longer.  We are on a roll in this neck of the woods.

As per usual, I spent much of the morning working on Saving the Senior Center.  We are getting a lot of signatures on our petitions, and a local online news magazine (The Brockporter) collected over 100 in the past 48 hours. The most remarkable part, is the comments people are leaving.  All of them get sent to the Supervisor and Town Board and I hope they are being read.  We've had 4 spots on different newscasts and the word is spreading.  So grateful for the outstanding committee along with the community interest and compassion.

Had a 2:30 meeting down at Alicia's.  Not again!!!!  Our first grant for a mural bombed and we are going for another.  I can't spend a lot of time on something else.

Made a couple stops in the village before coming home.  Fall has fell.  Look at those trees.

Leftovers for dinner with a new salad.  Mango, bananas and raspberries.

 Chores a little before 7.

It sure is getting dark earlier.

Night all.
