Back to grey this morning....about 10 degrees, an improvement over yesterday.
Cleaned the house and set things up for bridge. Only two tables today and I invited everyone for lunch instead of having all those snacks and desserts. We had corn chowder, salad and crusty rolls. Ann brought cookies, so it was a pretty simple meal.
I forgot all about taking pictures. They did not leave until 4:45 and this is what was left when I dug out my camera. By the way, my partner (Terry) and I tied for second place and had a very nice afternoon.
Gary had to take Cooper to an appointment with his Doctor today...they met Jenny there. Nothing serious, just a physical and a flu shot. Afterward they grabbed a quick lunch before going back to school. He came home for a short time, then went back to meet the boys after school
Chores at 5:30.
Tucked the girls in for the night....the temperature was almost 25 inside.
By the time I got back in the house it was nearly 6:30. Gary was home by then, and we ended up at Barber's for a balboa.
That's it for now.
Night all.
Our landline is as dead as a doornail. What a pain! The second time in two months.
If you need me, please call my cell phone.
Glad your temps are soaring! We got about a foot of snow here followed by sleet and then another eight inches tonight. Should be fun.
ReplyDeleteThe girls look like they're dealing with everything well. Nice bridge game, congrats on coming in second.
Glad your day was an enjoyable one! It's supposed to start warming up for us by next week--If that happens, I'll send some of that warmth up to you!
ReplyDeleteI could host a Candyland party. Anybody game? LOVE that banner of Abbe.
