A Very Hard Frost

20 degrees this morning.
Almost looked like snow in the back 40.

Picked the big pasture after chores.
Then Gary and I went over to a friends and  picked lots of apples (and were given a couple of gigantic quince).

Some of the leaves in the town have not given in to the low temperatures.

 Pasture switch at 4....

 Tucked in before dark.

Dinner....meatloaf sandwiches and carrot salad.

Need to go take a shower.
Night all.

  1. I was going to say that I'd rather pick apples than pick a pasture... but picking up after horses is such a satisfying chore for me. I love seeing my progress so easily!

  2. Not as cold here around 30. Still cold. Love all the pictures, especially the pups. Very cute.

  3. Oooooh I wish I had a friend with a quince bush/tree! They are so hard to find and I love them! Lots of great Italian desserts to make with quince.

  6. The dogs have the right idea, soft fluffy pillow and a bed by the window.
