Brockport After Dark - A Look at the Morgan-Manning Fine Art Show and Sale

Incredible!  This was no country bumpkin show just because Brockport is a small village.  Two women (Judy C. and Alicia F.) had a vision, and with their committee produced one of the best shows I have seen in this area.  It was held in the Carriage House behind the Morgan-Manning and the atmosphere could not be improved upon anywhere....not even in Rochester.  You knew it was going to be great when you walked onto the property and the driveways were lined with candles.

In the center of the first floor was an antique horse drawn vehicle minus the horse.  Instead it was loaded with mums and seasonal decorations.
 The place was packed.

Wine and sweets...just like the poster in my header said it would be.

 And there was classical music!

By the time I left at 8:30, many pieces had already been sold.
All 25 of these artists are from the Brockport area.  Are we fortunate or what?

Hanging all these works was not an easy job.  Kudos to Gordy F. and those who helped him make this a very professional exhibition.  I think this is just the beginning.
