Another beautiful morning....chores as usual and a little shredding.
Worked myself into a sweat picking up debris from the back yard and had just enough time to take a shower before class.
Here's the ironic part. Below is Tina. 34 years ago she was the teacher of Evan, who is taking down our trees.
Gary brought him over to the Studio to say "hello".
After that he got down to business. Once the yard was cleaned up, he started trimming out the dead branches from the last tree.
His assistant, Marsha, helped him climb up the tree by pulling on a long rope.
It did not take Evan long to get the job done.
While they were doing all that, I dropped Ariana off at Agape and had an appointment with the massage therapist.
Chores at 5:30....
Dinner at 6:30.
Tomatoes, cucumbers and onion from our garden.
Roasted potatoes...
and veggie burgers on fresh Italian bread.
When we finished, Ariana and I moved one of the pine trees that Evan was kind enough to cut down.
and Gary is still out there putting the picket fence back up. We have a lot of work to do with this back yard. It's so light now, flowers should grow there.
Time out.
Night all.
I love all the wonderful hub bub that goes on at your farm. Great peekaboo pony picture. lol

ReplyDeleteOne busy day with satisfying results, always good to get tree felling mess tidied up. Lovely meal, as always. Cheers from Jean
ReplyDeleteAny day at your place never fails to amaze me. This seems to be an extra busy time at Skoog Farm. The dinner looks fabulous, I love roasted potatoes.
ReplyDeleteYou're always so busy. I honestly don't know where you find the energy you pack into one day.
