I love these cool mornings....
Lorrie and her young visitor from Paris helped with chores and picked pastures.
When I got in from the barn there was a message from my friend Judy....wanting to take Ariana and me out to lunch before she leaves. Seeing that we were in Rochester, Jenny joined us.
(When that kid goes home, we are going to have to give up eating).
Ariana was given many choices and she picked Jine's. Many years ago, Jenny used to work there.
Like Alex's in Batavia, this restaurant is packed from the time it opens to closing. A real testament to the quality of the food served.
I forgot to take pictures of what we ate....duh. Of course it was delish and we pigged out.
From there, we went over to the Parkleigh Pharmacy.
It is stocked with the most amazing things...a perfect place to buy someone a gift (which Jenny did).
I asked permission to take pictures as the color and textures (eye candy) were overwhelming.
Thanks Judy! You made our day.
Just before Ariana went down to Jenny's, she came in the house and told me about a "swan" that was in the outdoor (flooded once again) arena. Of course I ran out, camera in hand.
Evening chores. This time it was nice and cool so I put the girls out after they had their grain.
They'll get their rest time a little later....
Night all.
Wow - that is colorful eye candy! Good thing I wasn't with you or I would have spent too much money. Those horses of yours certainly do look happy.
