Sunny, Muggy and a Torrential Downpour

After chores, Lorrie and Moon had a lesson with Elizabeth.
Now that the lane is mown, they were able to go for their first drive outside of the rings.

I was very impressed.  Moon has a new bit and did very well with it.

Next stop...the Seymour Library.  At 10 we met there to set up our 12th Annual Art Exhibition.

 (pardon all the reflections)

We are fortunate to have such a beautiful library.
Done before 11:30 and 5 of us decided to go to Java for lunch, where I had the usual...
a Greek Pannini.

No sooner did I get home....Gary wanted to go get some plants at Sara's.  Off we went.

Ran into Jack and Louise (Apple Creek Farm, where I used to mow) and they were very excited to have us come over and see the new grape and berry garden they are developing.  It looks fantastic and Gary will help with the planting.
Took a long nap this afternoon...fell asleep reading.

It hit 90 degrees and I could see a change in the weather coming.
Grained the girls and put them back out.  They new something was about to happen...

 and headed for the indoor.

Within 10 minutes I was putting them back in the barn.

The sky exploded before I got in the house...soaked.
As soon as the rain let up I went to Ralph and Rosie's for slices of pizza.  No cooking.
I hope it's not going to be a wet day for The Northampton Driving Show tomorrow.
Night all.
