Enough Already....

This rain, rain, rain is keeping me in a sleepy funk.

Lorrie and Moon had another lesson with Elizabeth.  Ground work.

I really enjoy talking to Elizabeth about her teaching techniques.

After lunch I ran several errands...bought a birthday present, dropped off a check at A Different Path Gallery (start up fund for a mural on the back of the building) and finally Wegmans.  It was really pouring when I walked out to the car.  Gary did not have Finn and Coop duty so he spent some time getting wet as he planted more strawberries.

When it's dreary like this I catch myself yawing a lot!!!!  If I sit down and read I have to give up after the kindle falls out of my hands 5 or 6 times.

Managed to make dinner.
 Coleslaw, sweet potatoes and chicken.
When I went out to tuck in the girls they were waiting for me in the indoor.

Things are blooming all over the place....now if the sun would show up.

As I need some beauty sleep, I'm signing off.
Night all.

  2. After years in SC and CO I am not certain I could handle grey days.
Your flowers seem to be enjoying the moisture, though!

  3. Oh your foxglove are so beautiful! Yes we've had ample rain here too...good news for me and all my hydrangeas! How wonderful to have these strawberries! Are there any plants you and Gary don't grow? Just fabulous.

  4. Beautiful flowers. We had rain all day yesterday and some storm last night. I'm only thankful I don't live in a flood zone. Little bit of sun today, if only it would stick around for a while. I'd like to plant some flowers without getting soaked. I'm reading my kindle too but can't stay awake either.
