Not Much Improvement...

Grey, cold, very windy and lots of water.  It was another day to put sheets on the girls.

There was a lot of body language going on when they were in the paddock.
The lake in the back pasture is now turning into a pond.

Lorrie was picking up that last pile of manure....

I made a quick trip to Wegmans and decided to go to drumming late.

There was a 10 year old girl playing with us today who was off the charts!  She studies percussion at her school, and was capable of doing everything the adults were doing.  I was VERY impressed.

On April 28th we will be drumming at a half marathon in Rochester.  They put us at the top of a very long hill to get the 2000 runners motivated.  This will be our 3rd year and it's always fun.

Home around 5 and made some Johnny Cake for dinner before going out to do chores.

It was still ugly out there.

 Tucked them in....

and went back to the house for dinner.
Surprise!  Leftovers.
 Coleslaw....Johnny Cake....
 and soup.
Night all.

  5. Lori - You pack more into one day than I pack into an entire month. Love your posts, love seeing the horses, the land, the pond; love that you share your drumming; and I love your foods!
