Moon Walk (Run)

Home on the range all day.  About the most exciting thing I did was shovel the driveway.  After that it was sitting by the fire, reading, napping and back out again.  It's a good thing I have a lot of blogging buddies to look forward to everyday.

"Come on Mom!  Get that food rollin.'"

 More snow and freezin'.
Set up some hay for Moon under the shed roof so she could start getting used to the girls.
Lorrie had a lead rope on her and all was quiet.  We will do this again for several days.

 Barn dog....Gucci Poochie.

Put Moon back in the run-in...Abbe and Berlin kept her company.

 Seymour the Tiger...

******* (This is the part of the day where I did nothing productive)*******

Time for evening chores...put the girls in and let Moon out.

This time she was more curious and ran around before going to her stall (on her own).

"Bring on the chow!"

Couch potato...Phoebe Bluegrass.

Somehow I managed to make a familiar dinner.
BBQued boneless country ribs, sweet potatoes and coleslaw.
Chocolate pudding with bananas and slivered almonds for dessert.....later.
Night all.

  2. Brett and I were down the mountain doing chores today, stopped for lunch, and I ordered a chocolate malt with my BLT. I sucked it down like nobodies business. Sometimes you just gotta have chocolate ice cream or chocolate pudding. You just gotta.

  7. Looks like the girls are getting used to one another. Good idea putting Abbe and Berlin's hay near the door so they can see one another.

Also, big respect for the way you introduce Moon to the herd. Super slow and easy and no rushing - the only way! Well done you!
