Could not ask for a more beautiful sunrise.
For the second night in a row I got very little sleep...cough, cough cough.
Felt much better when I was outside.
This is the second morning Gary has come out to help me. We were done in a jiffy.
With snow on the way, I decided to pick the pastures.
Spent the day in pjs and Gary picked up a perscription for some heavy duty cough syrup. Finally I was able to get a couple hours of sleep.
Out for chores at 5.
Tucked in my girls...we shall be moving to heavy blankets tomorrow. High winds and lots of snow should be in our future.
Gary made a salad....
and Jenny delivered some pizza from Ralph and Rosie's.
It was just what the Doctor ordered.
Tonight it is all about
trying to get some sleep.
Night all.
love the tinsel horsey and swirling sky!

Oh I do hope your cough goes away and you get some much needed sleep. Outside air always makes people feel better. Maybe you can sleep in the barn:)
ReplyDeleteTake care. I LOVE your photos. Merry Christmas Hug B
Lori, have you been to the Dr?? I see KB heeded some good advice, so I hope you get better so soon, lovely sky, lovely "meals-on-wheels" Take care, you have 5 days to recover. Greetings from Jean
ReplyDeleteOh this is awful. I just went through this myself. I was visiting mom and she made soup and clucked over me like a wonderful hen!
ReplyDeleteShe cured me with good food and care. Mom's even 79 yr old ones are the best!
Feeling better, but the sleep comes hard.
Hope you are better soon.
Pizza sounds good. I hope you sleep tonight. We're both over our colds - for the moment anyway.
ReplyDeleteWhenever I have a cold, I sip on a home-made Hot Toddy. Cut up some fresh ginger,& put it in a coffee mug, add 1 or 2 tsp of honey, juice from half a lemon and top with boiling water. Add a shot or two of brandy, strictly for medicinal purposes you understand!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon! Just discovered your blog and enjoying the gorgeous sunrise photos!
It looks like all of the pampering worked very well for Seymour.
ReplyDeleteMy husband had a similar cold recently. It was terrible, the coughing and the lack of sleep.
You'll probably need a little more pampering to get better. It lasts at least a couple weeks.
Fell better and hope you get some sleep.
ReplyDeletePoor you! Get well soon, Lori.
