So after that, Gary helped me get my car started with jumper cables and I went down to Northside to get a new battery. Simple huh? Well I ended up needing a belt blah blah something to do with the alternator. That was a cool total of $292.11! Merry Christmas to me.
Home just in time to do chores.
Made a salad with pears...
mixed up the leftover Swedish meatballs with some shells and had a no brainer supper.
We were actually considering going out for a couple hours...to a great party in Brockport...but that is not going to happen. We are too comfy in front of the fire, and will settle for a 1985 Meryl Streep movie.
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE.
I wish you good health and happiness.
Night all.
Happy New Year to both you and Gary. Staying home in front of a nice fire is always preferable to me. That snow looks like an awful amount of work. Take care both of you.
ReplyDeleteSnuggled in for the new year as am I. I can't believe all your snow and I bet those girls are loving that barn! Happy New Year Lori!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your movie. We are going to make an appearance at the ranch party. We can walk over so that will be convenient. Although we are comfy on the couch noe...
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Lori I am snuggled in the house ringing in the New Year just the way I like it. HUGS B
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteI have got to try Swedish Meatballs some time.
I just wanted to wish you and all the animals a happy new year :)
ReplyDeleteWe stayed in too. Had the grandchildren over and they did some sledding down the hills here.
ReplyDeleteWishing you and Gary and everyone at Skoog Farm a wonderful happy and healthy New Year!

ReplyDeleteLori - May 2013 bring lots of good health and joy to Skoog Family Farm!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for not going out again. Nothing like a wood fire and Meryl Streep. Nothing.
