When I went out to the barn, I was very relieved to see that Berlin's eye was back to normal.
Another beautiful start to the day.
After chores I dropped Gary off at Java Junction and went to Agape.
Could not pass up going to the pool.
Home for lunch and a short break....got back in the car and drove Gary to physical therapy before going to Jenny's to pick up....
Ice.
He needed blood work and a super shot as he has Addison's Disease, so I took him to the Animal Hospital. It's an expensive proposition, but Jenny and the boys love this dog. He was locked in a refrigerator that sat on a porch in Kentucky...left to suffocate, when he was just a pup. Fortunately, someone heard him crying and saved his life. He came to Brockport the same way Phoebe got here...5 or 6 very caring individuals took different legs of the journey and he has been loved and well cared for ever since. The kindest dog...look at those eyes.
By the time I picked up Gary and we got home, it was time to do chores.
Cleaned out the frog "pond."
Jenny treated us to a bag of this very different pasta and I finally made it tonight.
Topped it with some of that leftover Bolognese Sauce I made last week.
So good!
Night all.
You show us the change of light! Very cool.

Another wonderful day in your neighborhood.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Berlin's eye is better. Paj had a blocked tear duct this week, but it's better.
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrible life Ice had before his rescue! Thank goodness there are wonderful people like your family and all the folks that helped rescue him.
That pasta looks yummy! Poor Ice - he had a horrible start in life but he hit the jackpot with Jen and the boys.
