I was doing ok 'til I had to get out of bed the first time to go to therapy. The nerve block in the front of my leg was going away and it wasn't pretty. Got through it and went back to my room. For some reason my cheeks are very flushed and I felt lightheaded and just about barfed at the 1pm therapy. Gary was following me around with a bucket. Then, a PA came in to see me and has changed the pain meds. I look ridiculous and can't write anymore. Yuck, they just delivered food and I just can't think about eating. Later.
You are a trooper. Hang in there. Plenty of good meals to come : )
ReplyDeleteOh Lori take care I will be thinking of you. I don't know about your hospital but the ones around here would make you barf any ways. Hope you feel better soon. HUGS B
ReplyDeleteBig shock to your system! Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
ReplyDelete(I bet not many people go online to blog the day after knee surgery.)
Hope things go well . . . hospitals are no fun!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel much better in the morning.
ReplyDeleteBrett said that this is what he experienced as well. It does get better. Promise. Rest up and take your pain meds. You'll heal faster if you stay ahead of the pain.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel. It could be the pain meds making you sick. Sometimes they make you not hungry at all either. Believe it or not I lost 15 pounds while on the pain meds.
ReplyDeleteHope your pain goes away soon. It's not pretty for a few days. Hang in there.
Do hope you feel beautiful very soon, Dear. Love the sweet puppies below :-)

ReplyDeleteSorry you aren't feeling well with the meds... no fun. Hopefully it passes soon. Take care.
ReplyDeleteHello Lori. Trust all went well? You should be getting past the worst now, and soon you'll be thinking of getting home.
ReplyDeleteBUT, when you do, sleep lots and DON'T try and do tooooo much. It always surprises me how the body dictates its needs. LISTEN TO IT.
Love, Mike and Ann.
I totally missed your post about this because I've been so busy! I hope all went well and that you feel better soon and heal up quickly!!!! Why did you have to have knee surgery? I went back but I can't find the post.
