TIME FOR A FLEECE JACKET AND A HAT...

 Not a beautiful morning.
 Gary helped me with chores.

We were supposed to join Jenny and the boys for a trip to Naples and a tour of a Maple Syrup farm, but it was just to rainy.  So instead, we met at Java for breakfast.
As you can see, the weather required a jacket and hat for this little visitor.

Spud and Ed joined us.  Part of Gary's usual morning crew.

Home 11ish and got a fire going.  Relaxed most of the day and went out to do chores a little before 6.
By that time, we had had a few hours of sunshine and the temperature hit the 50s.

My assistants were happy to get out for awhile.
We had a 6:30 dinner engagement with Mary E. and Jay at 6:30.
I could not resist taking a picture of this colored pencil drawing that was given to ME as a gift.  Can you see her conducting the Children's Choir?
We started out with some appetizers on the side yard.  How many times have we done that in March??

One of their kitties was hiding under the table.

As the sun went down, it got cooler and we went back inside....

 for a fabulous dinner.
 I brought a salad....
that was served with BBQued spareribs....
corn (from their garden last summer)
a pasta/humus (made from their own basil) salad

followed by homemade carrot cake (sorry, but the picture was too blurry to use).

 What a meal!
After much conversation, we left for home.
The moon and stars were brilliant.

Night all.

  2. Love the new header, beautiful. You always seem to have days filled with family, friends, animals and good food. Nothing better than that!
