CRISPY CRITTERS....AND PIZZA 101

Well, it was 23 in Brockport this morning...BUT, there was no frost on the lawn.
Jill, the crew and I did chores post haste.
 We have some menagerie here....
Chester had to have been a show dog before he became a stray.  This is such a natural stance for him.
These weather changes can be tough on ponies...so they kept their blankets on today.
A little wind and chilly all day.

Class started at 1:30.  A table full of artists.
I picked a couple dozen daffodils, as they were down on the ground from the cold.

Between the solar rays coming through the windows and the heater, it was toastie in there.
It put Gucci and Phoebe to sleep.

Until they heard someone come in the driveway.

Meanwhile back at the table....everyone was working hard.

When I got back to the house, started on pizza for dinner.
Sauteed some onions and red peppers....
Spread out the pizza dough and let it rise for awhile.
Threw some spinach on the veggies....
Sauce on the dough, added the veggies and topped with cheese.
Phoebe rested while it was baking in the oven.
Can't have pizza without a salad.

 Yum.

Out to do chores a little before 7.  Still chilly.

Tucked the girls in and ran back to the house to get in front of the fire.
Night all.

  2. Hallooo Lorelei!

How are you love? Hope all is well. Loving your new header. And a question. How does a show dog become a stray? He's gorgeous. And I love the pic of the two little pups looking out the window! Haha! How precious was that! xoxox Rebecca

  3. I think I would love in out in the art studio. I could see myself napping on a couch with the pups. :) Chilly...hmmmm. Hope that doesn't last too long for you. We are supposed to hit 40* in the next few days. Some melting happened today, but we have a long way to go.
