Beautiful when I went out to the barn....
I solo on Wednesdays. After cleaning stalls and setting up for the evening, I went out to pick a couple pastures. Belle joined me.
Within a few minutes Berlin and Abbe ventured out.
It was still pretty nice when I went back in the house. Most of the snow was gone and the temperature went up to the low 40s.
Made a quick run to the bank...no chorus today. Thought I was on the road to feeling better, but by afternoon the stomach bug was back. So, more hanging out on the couch.
Evening chores....as usual.
By tomorrow morning, there will be snow on the lawn again.
Managed to make dinner. BBQued boneless ribs, sweet potatoes and coleslaw. I think Brett (Aspen Meadows) would have enjoyed this meal. Unfortunately, I did not have much of an appetite.
That's it for now...
Night all.
I think we have that same bug going around here : ( I can't wait for bedtime tonight. I will look for your snow pics tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteSupper looks good and I would love to have a bit of your snow.
ReplyDeleteOur temps were in the 50's today. Snow expected tonight and tomorrow with a high of 30. Brrrrr!
ReplyDeleteI want to come eat at your house! Your dinners always look so good!

Your dinner looks so delicious but I am sorry to hear that you have not been feeling well. I pray that you will be feeling good really soon!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon, dear Lori.
ReplyDeleteI want to clean the pastures but the manure is frozen in. It's never looked so bad.
Snow-nosnow-snow-nosnow....that's got to drive kids crazy.
ReplyDeleteHope that stomach bug is gone in the morning.
Oh, yes, Brett would have loved that meal and happily eaten your portion. Get some rest -- too bad the horse can't feed themselves when you are under the weather.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better sooooon, Lori!
ReplyDeleteYa, you got snow coming from the mid west, I think. Enjoy!
