THISANDTHAT....

Jill and I had chores done by 8:10.  That's a record.
The girls started out with their coats on, but when the sun started to warm things up....
 I took them off.

Spent the rest of the morning mowing the lawn.  The whole idea was to mulch the few remaining leaves.

Gary worked the hospitality table for Alumni again today.  I love this "institution."  Every home game they give away hots, chips, drinks and cookies....that would be FREEEE.  And they even had apples.
When it comes to community, nobody can beat the core group of people who give, give, give.
When this town needs something, they're there.
Today Brockport played Morrisville and won.  A nice end to the season.  It was also a visitation day for prospective students who were there with their families.
Neat things happen.  Just when one of those families came up for hot dogs, the President of the college and his wife came over and they had a personal introduction to each other.  That whole experience will have an impact on their impression of Brockport.
Then it was time for drumming.
Clyde was in his usual entertaining form...
And Khalid kept us on task.

For the past two weeks Wayne has been drumming standing up (off and on).  Believe me, this takes strength as our drums are VERY heavy.  Today the light was hitting him just right and I had to watercolor a few photographs.
 Name that tune....ha ha.

It got dark so early tonight.  The horses were tucked in before 5:30.
You guessed it!  Leftovers for dinner.
 Yey!!!!that included pie!
 Night all.
