SHORT AND SWEET...

No beautiful sunrise this morning....however!  Gary washed the windows and they are so clean the view looked pretty good.

When I got out to the barn, Lily was waiting for me.  Stuck around the whole time.
The temperature has taken a dive and rain is in our future for the next several days.  Didn't start too early tho....

When I was picking the pastures, Sophie tagged along.
They worked through the night to get the soybeans off the field next to us, and this morning they started preparing it for the planting of wheat.
We had a good rehearsal at chorus today.  Got home and continued to work on the upstairs, ironing and hanging curtains.  This painting project has had quite an impact.

Gar met the boys at the bus and brought them up here for dinner.  Ralph and Rosie's pizza and some cookies from Greg'rys.

Lily was still waiting for me when I went out to do evening chores.  By then it had really started to rain.

Picked some cosmos for Jen to take home tonight.  They are still gorgeous.

Gar built a nice fire for tonight.
He and the boys went out to the studio to do some art work.
Which looked like this.

Over and out.  The horse dentist is coming tomorrow.

  3. It's hard to believe you are watching the rain with a warm fire -- while we are sweating like pigs out here. Tonight we sat on the patio of our favorite restaurant and it felt like a summer evening. No jacket needed.
