Lori, I heard Long Beach took a beating as far as flooding goes. My friend also has a house out there & she said there were parts where the beach-side met the bay! I know half a million were without power & cable all over LI-my parents & brother & his family being among them - lot of fallen trees & wires. I hope everything turned out ok for your daughter!
