It was raining this morning when I went out to the barn. The ponies didn't care.
The plant Tina gave us in memory of Pony had a huge new blossom....
Finished chores and it stopped raining. I caught Abbe snoozing in the pasture.
The sky changed dramatically.
Decided to make a batch of sauce...too bad the picture was so fuzzy.
The afternoon was a little warmer...maybe in the 60s.
I finished mowing the pastures and swept out the upstairs of the horse barn. The hay delivery got postponed until tomorrow. Let's hope it's not raining again.
Tina stopped over and brought another plant....this time, for Masterpiece. She has given us a plant for every horse we have lost, so they are still remembered.
Sophie was in and out of the barn today. Looks for me.
Gary spent a lot of time working in his barn today. Starting to shape up. The upcoming Barn Tour turned out to be a great motivator.
Before I went out to do evening chores, Judy called and invited us over for dinner. How could we refuse? Love these spontaneous get togethers.
You can always count on a spectacular vegetarian meal. Humus, red peppers...
marinated olives and sweet potato nacho chips...
I brought a salad and Judy made mac and cheese....the scratch, awesome way.
She also baked bread...I topped mine with pepper jelly. Off the charts.
As if that wasn't enough....sweet potato pie for dessert.
Fine dining!
Judy has a little studio down in the village and has turned into quite the painter. One of her favorite subjects.....frogs.
Home a little after 9 and went out to tuck in the ponies. It was freezing! Had to be in the 40s.
The moon was showing off and I had the wrong camera with me.
Busy day tomorrow, I may have a visitor from Punkin's Patch. Better clean the house!
Night all.
Absolutely stunning skies. It's cold and raining here too.
