THE EAGLES LANDED AT 1AM....

Last night we pulled into the Buffalo airport around 12:30am...the girls flight arrived a little before 1.
Ariana and Daniela are seasoned travelers and know the drill well.
We got home around 2:30 and went to bed a few minutes later.

Woke up around 7....way to early.  I went out to do chores and Daniela joined me.

By 8:30 Jen, Finn and Cooper arrived with bagels and cream cheese.

I took a break from chores and we all sat down at the kitchen table.
Finally finished up in the barn.
Got the ponies into the big pasture.

All four kids played on the swing until it was time to take Gucci and Phoebe to their groomer.  They have been panting for weeks...she was so booked we could not get in until today.

After we dropped them off, it was time to jump into Tina's pool.

The temperature was in the 80s again.

While we played, Tina watered her gardens.

After an hour, we were all tired and ready to go home.  Not enough sleep....for sure.
A quick visit with DJ and we were off.

When we got home, I looked out back and saw deer in the field...got as close as I could with my zoom (they were several hundred yards away, in the soy beans).
The kids went out to the Studio Barn and worked on art projects (along with some wild dancing) for over two hours.

The veggie gardens are growing like crazy....still picking tons of spinach.
Had to pick up the dogs at 2.  This boat was on the canal when I was driving down Canal Road.
Evening chores, set the table, made sauce....a late dinner tonight as Finn had his last baseball game.

Phoebe and Gucci look different without all that hair, but I'm sure they are more comfortable.

This was Finn's night.  He hit a grand slam.

It certainly impressed his cousins (Mom and us).
On the way home we stopped by Barb's barn to see what progress has been made.  Gary had never seen it.

Back home for a late dinner.

Boy, do I need some sleep.
Night all.

  2. Wow! You are all troopers because I'm sure this family would have had a lot of crabby throw in with so much activity even with sleep! Hope you get some rest tonight.
