WAS THERE A SKYWATCH FRIDAY? OR A FARM FRIEND BLOG HOP?

Here at Skoog Farm....the sun came up.

I was awake before 6 and did chores early....again.

The temperature was climbing fast (high 70s) and those pesky bug came out in large numbers.
 On went the masks.

Gary went to Brockport for a press conference and I waited at home for Gordy B. to come and rototil a couple of gardens and my rings.
First he did the outdoor ring, and then the indoor.
Smooth as silk...no more weeds...nice and level.
Tom rode in to Chapel Oaks with us for a 1:30 performance with the chorus.
Yes Deb, he wore the right clothes!
 The lilacs were blooming.

Today Greg T. was there to accompany us on the piano.  Here, he was enjoying the Barber Shop numbers.

Our fearless leader was pretending to be a goat for one of them.
We go to this Senior Living Center as the mother of one of our members lives there.  It is a gorgeous and well run facility.

At the end of our presentation, we did a sing-a-long.
They knew every song!

We had to leave right away, as Gary had his last First (Second) Friday today.  He decided to leave his chorus outfit on.

Greg, who was with us earlier, plays the piano at these Friday events....so he had a busy day too.
Tons of food...took some home and will have to call some friends to come and help us eat it tomorrow.  Pulled pork, baked beans......  Are you available?
Jenny was able to make it.
There was a pretty good crowd.

Does Gary look like a Big Apple waiter or what?
We had a surprise visit from Sandy Frankel, who is running for County Executive.  A very strong and qualified candidate (my humble opinion).

Got home...did chores.... (Gary had to go to yet another meeting at 7!!!!  He was pooped.)
and tried to finish mowing the lawn before it rained.

The rains came.
Night all.

  1. Hi Lori! I saw your comment on Facebook on Ron's post saying that you'd not missed a post in 2 years--Kudos to you for that, and another for sharing your time and talent at the senior center!!

  2. Beautiful pictures. I love the photos of the house especially -- red with white trim, seen through all that green and lushness. It sounds like you had a good productive day. Especially good since blogger is back up.

  3. Lovely images! I thoroughly enjoyed those of the land and the horses. Now I'm off to see if you have more like them. ;)

I'm visiting from last week's Farm Friend Friday and just joined you as a follower.

  4. How fast your lives are moving and how full your days. Thanks again for including an audio bit, so we can not only see but hear, too.
