LOTS OF DRUMMING...

 Another misty morning.

Barb and I did chores...the usual Saturday gig.
There was still standing water in the big pasture, and everything is growing like crazy.
Now the day lilies are towering over the sculpture at the end of the driveway, and the snow on the mountain is a foot and a half tall.
I had to go to the bank and Wegmans, and when I got back at 11, the sun was out and the temperature was rising.  Went out to put the masks on the ponies...Barb was one step ahead of me.

My pal Alice arrived at 12:40 and we were off to drumming with our new drums.
These beautiful blossoms were outside the building.
There were 8 of us today including Khalid.  Something must have been in the air, as we laughed our butts off for the first hour.  What a great mix of people.  After working hard from 1-4, Khalid had Alice and me stick around for an hour of extra work on slaps and tones...learning how to take advantage of the new drums we just bought.  What a special person he is!  Patient, kind, a master and very generous with his time and talent.  Believe me, he is appreciated by all of us.
Look at what Gary did while I was gone!  Tina will love this.  Tuesday she brought us a new plant in memory of Pony (white for her color) and Gary put up this trellis on the barn porch so it would have a place to grow.  PERFECT!
Barb had evening chore duty and I made dinner.

Grilled Portabella Mushroom Sliders, Corn on the Cob and a salad.
Delish.

We invited Jack and Louise over for pie and tea at 8.  Now it's time to relax.
Night all.

  5. Stunning pics. And drumming for 3-4 *hours*?? Your hands/wrists don't get sore? You must be near or at the pro level by now.
