My cameras are abused! This little SONY Cyber-shot is in my pocket morning and night when I do chores and could stand a good cleaning. I believe this is my 5th pocket sized digital...they get worn out in about a year because I take so many pictures.
Last year I decided to go up a notch and bought a Canon Power Shot SX20IS. It has no extra lenses but I can't complain. In my opinion, good light makes the most difference in the quality of my shots.
I will admit, that I could get better Macro shots if I had a better camera.
For now, this is it! Nothin' fancy.

Your pictures are excellent Lori! I agree, the available light makes the most difference.
ReplyDeleteLove, love the new header picture of Abbe.
ReplyDeleteYou do an amazing job with pictures...whatever camera you use.
I have the same camera, but in an SX10. Sometimes, my closeups are clear, sometimes not. lol I think it depends on how close or far away I stand when I take the shot.
ReplyDeleteYou do a great job with both of your cameras. One couldn't tell the difference in which one you are using. Your pictures are grand. :)
ReplyDeleteMy little Canon PowerShot takes better macro pictures than my Nikon. I use both, depending on what I'm shooting.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos. You do a great job. :)
Your pictures are always great. I have yet to learn my camera and all it can do.
ReplyDeletedibear said it for me - great job with either camera, and your photos are grand.
ReplyDeleteI love how you took a picture of the LCD screens turned on. Too cool! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you showed your cameras--I've been wondering what you use for your great shots--and I, too, love that you took a pic of the LCD screens. ..also love that new Abbe photo.
ReplyDeleteLori, I've always thought you take amazing pictures and I am continually in awe of the color and detail of your photos. But I just had a bit of a chuckle when I see that we are both using the Canon Power Shot!! I guess it's me and not my camera and I don't 'need' a better one after all...or do we?? :-))
ReplyDeletePS: I do love my PowerShot...
Nice shots, you have the right attitude and your pictures show it, the photographer is the most important part of the equation, not the equipment.
ReplyDeleteYou are right. Light is what really makes you or breaks you. You always have nice shots :-).
ReplyDeleteBeautiful picture of Abbe in your banner. Lookin' like a movie star again. And, no, Jackson is not sound yet. Going on two weeks. sigh.
ReplyDeleteYou take some great photos with both of your cameras. Thanks for sharing.
