TAKIN' IT EASY....

It was in the 20s this morning.  Those clouds looked like a preview of snow to me.

Was Barb there when I went out to the barn?  Of course.  Chores were done in no time.  Apparently it rained quite a bit last night, as the paddock was a boot sucker.

There was a windy start to the morning, so we put the hay under the shed roof.

Sidney held down the fort while I took the dogs down to the groomer for a 10am appointment.

I tried to clean up their dirty paws before we left.

What did Sid care?

I vegged for awhile and picked them at 2.  They smelled so good!

The rest of the afternoon was spent in front of the fire.   Around 5 I went out to do evening chores.

We had our first little bit of snow with more on the way.

What would the day after Thanksgiving be without leftovers?

I washed the dog beds so they would be all fresh and nice for the pups.

Gucci blends right in...getting ready for a nap.  Me too.
Night all.

  1. Don't know how you manage two such celebrations (Thanksgiving and Christmas) within a month. I always think that the best part of Christmas for me (culinarily speaking) is foraging for cold leftovers on Boxing day.
    Cheers, Mike and Ann.

P.s. Many thanks for your very kind invitation.

  2. You have such an descriptive turn of phrase, Lori: "the paddock was a boot sucker" So cool! I love the groomed dogs. Megan is done every three months and I love her smell too. Happy thanksgiving to you all. Blessings and (((hugs))) Jo
