THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT LITTLE GIRLS AND HORSES...BIG GIRLS TOO!

Yesterday my friend Tina, her friend Dorthea and Dorthea's four granddaughters drove over to Kateland Farm in Holley to take some driving lessons.  Kateland Farm is a haven for miniature horses....usually there are 60 or 70 there. The owners have turned it into a world class driving facility with a regulation outdoor ring, an indoor and a full fledged cross country course.  I have participated in 2 different clinics there, presented by Larry Poulin, Olympic Cross Country Driving participant.  The sweet part of the whole deal....the owner (Ted Jenny) is very generous with his herd and very happy to introduce children to the art of driving.

Here's what happened with the girls...

Thank you ponies!  We loved it!

Back in Christina's World, there was still time for DJ, Dream and the Sandman.
What a beautiful day!

  1. A whole herd of minis driving - how cute! Looks like the kids (and perhaps even the minis) had a great time!

  3. P.s.If there was a place like that in England I'd treat all my grandchildren to a session. Well all the ones under twelve, anyway.
That's not as generous as it sounds, because there's only two of the eleven of them still under that age; and one of them isn't in England, anyway.

    Regards, mean old grandpa Mike.
