ATTENTION BROCKPORTERS WHO WERE AT THE INTERNATIONAL SPECIAL OLYMPICS HELD AT THE COLLEGE IN 1979

I was reading one of my favorite blogs this morning and discovered this.  It is a piece of sculpture donated to the United States by Russia in 2006, created by ZURAB TSERETELI!  It is in honor of 9/11 and is called the Teardrop Memorial.  100 feet high and 175 tons!  He is the same artist who donated two pieces to our campus.

It is located in Bayonne, New Jersey.

  1. Love the scultpture. Very beautiful and meaningful.

You asked about fall shots - this year we did rhino and flu mainly because the boys will be boarded a week or so while we get a new roof on the barn from the hail damage. They will be stressed just by being in a strange place, and they will come into contact with a lot of horses.
