NOW YER TALKIN'!

When I loaded Seymour and Sidney in their taxi, there was a very loud sound overhead!
Honkin' geese. A crisp, beautiful morning...just what I love.
As soon as we got into the feed room Sid started playing with a new toy.
Can you believe his markings?

Gucci stuck with me in the barn and Phoebe was in the front paddock.

I put them back in the yard after I finished doing chores and the kitties stayed out in the barn.

Jenny dropped Finn and Coop off around 10:30 as she, Hanny and Julie were off to meet their x boss at Zambistro's for lunch. That would be (now retired) Congressman John LaFalce. All three used to work as Congressional Aides for him several years ago.

As soon as the boys arrived they wanted to go check out Seymour and Sid, so I went right back out to the barn.
The horses were out in the big pasture enjoying the lack of humidity. We only hit the mid 70s today.

Finn just loves spending time with these kittens.
Cooper, on the other hand, is more interested in climbing hay bales.

Sid posed for me this morning, when we all woke up.

Back in the house and Coop said he was hungry. Yogurt with granola sounded good.
Gary and Finn went out to the swing.

He ate the whole thing, and had lunch an hour later. Finn wanted Bill Gray cheeseburgers.
Grampa kept them busy playing badminton and other games, before they were picked up by Mom.

Late afternoon the sun was coming in the west windows and I lost it taking pictures.
There's nothing like good light.

By the time I went out to do evening chores, the moon was already up there.
Before we had dinner I took the masks off the horses. The light was still doing it's thing.

For several days I have wanted to use some of our eggplant and have not done it yet. Instead, I cut up some fruit...
and we had omlets and English muffins for dinner. I've been out of gas for a week.
Now I'm going to go let the horses in and go to bed.
Night all.

  5. Oh I love those kittens and Finn is a lad after me own heart! Your home is beautiful, Lori, especially in that stunning light. I love your piaono. It seems larger than an upright but not quite a grand piano? Do you play? Oh all your grandz are so sweeet and your four legged children make up the rest. Have a beautiful day. Jo (PS thanks for your kind comments on my posts this week past)
