This was the first show to go up at the Different Path Gallery. The Arena Art Group was started in 1951 ...cutting edge art by Rochester area artists. Kathy Weston (gallery and shop owner) is part of that group.
She and Stewart have been working very hard, getting the space ready for tonight, and it was top shelf.
Brockport is very fortunate to have a Gallery/Shop/Studio of this quality and I hope it draws people from near and far.
There was wine and cheese....
I had to look around the shop before checking out the show.
I want to get one of these night lights.
Now for the show...below are some samples of the work. If you get a chance, please go and visit
so you can see the rest.
Gary speaking to Ann Panning (a college professor and local author).
The painting of the pears was done by the woman in the pictures below.
She arrived in a very special outfit...just for the opening!
Kathy sells these socks in her shop...I definitely need to buy some.
She also did the painting below.
This show will run until September 27th. Check it out.
