A COOL AND WET DAY...

Grey almost the entire day. Sprinkling off and on....and chilly (needed a sweatshirt).
Barb and Gary helped with chores.

Gar gave Ariana a ride down to Jenny's, as she was going with her to Finn's T ball game.
I got there a few minutes after it started. Kevin coaches.
His father, Tom, was helping out in the field. He drives all the way up from Fredonia to do this.
Finn was on today.
Good hits....
and he really knew what he was doing out in the field.
Ariana was in the peanut gallery....
Along with Aunt Jenny....
and the Coop.

There was a lot of improvement this year....

From there, Jenny, Ariana, Finn and Cooper drove to Roseland Park to meet Lindsay and her niece (and maybe another kid or two). A water park on this chilly day? They went for it and had a great time.

Back at the ranch, I was busy getting eggs from Paula, across the street.

Lots more day lilies out by the road.

Gary could not paint, so we decided to go over to Salmon Creek Nursery to get a new cherry tree.
Last year we planted 2 cherry, 2 peach, 1 pear and 1 plum. One cherry didn't make it.
A very sweet place. Last week they held a wine tasting in the back of their main building.

We had my Escape, and the tree just fit in.

Fortunately we were able to get it home safely.

On the way we passed the Tally house, which has been sold and will close next week.
The place looked mint.
One of the most magnificent homes in this area.
Barb did chores tonight, and we went down to Jen's for dinner. Finally, a little sunshine.

It was a very long day, and we got home a little after 8. Now it's time to go put the horses in so I can hit the couch.

When you take too many pictures every day, it takes a long time to upload a post.
Night all.

  2. When you were at Paula's, did you kiss my puppies for me? I forgot to tell you that we have put a deposit on two puppies from Paula. A little boy and little girl. I named the girl Jewel (she's the runt) and Ed named the little boy Sampson. I'm getting antsy to get them home. But I'll be patient so Bella can do her job. Thanks for posting pictures on your web of the dogs. Now I'll be able to enjoy puppy antics around the farm!!!
