AIN'T LIFE GRAND PART TWO

Berlin was waiting for me when I got to the barn. Barb came over to help again...I am really enjoying her vacation!
The temperature was very nice, so we decided to ride around 10.
Today I rode Berlin and we were inside and outside.
Jenny and Ariana came out to the barn so A could have a little time on Berlin.
Then Finn joined us and took a turn!
Check out their videos below.
Berlin was a good girl...I need to get in gear with her so she will lose her gigantic gut.

After lunch I went over to Apple Creek Farm to mow the lawn.
Louise still has plenty of flowers in bloom.
Below is the LONG driveway.
I finished up a little after 3:30 and headed over to Christina's World to meet Jenny and the kids.
They were all in the pool when I got there.

I went out back to visit Mr. Sand Man and his Dream Girl.
They both seemed very content and came over to the fence to see me. Who knows, maybe Dream realized it was me.

One of Tina's cats followed me.

Back at the pool, Cooper discovered that he could touch the bottom "flat footed" and it made him much more secure. He is so ready to swim.

I left them there and went back home to get ready for evening chores.
The horses have been leaving hay lately.
PC left his wrap on today. I took it off for about half and hour while he was eating his grain and put on a new smaller version to keep it dry and covered. It looked pretty good today.
Gary will finish priming the back of the barn tomorrow....almost done. What a haul.
Ariana had dinner with Jenny and we went down to the Golden Eagle.

Got home just in time to get the ponie's masks off...put them in for the night.
The moon was gorgeous and I took several shots in the dark.

The videos below are of Ariana, Finn and Cooper. For their Moms of course!

Tomorrow is another day!

Night all.

  1. I am sure Dream new exactly who you were. I am glad she is loving her "new" life. That cat is a gorgeous one!

I don't know anything about horses so forgive my ignorance: why are the 2 horses wearing those masks?

  4. I was going to ask the same thing as Sandra. I looked back over past entries but didn't see any reasons.

Isn't it nice to have someone else around to help out with the chores?

    Enjoy your beautiful summer.
