POST #2409 COME RAIN OR COME SHINE...

A little cooler this morning...started out overcast.
Put the ponie's masks on and proceeded to clean the stalls. Got in the house and started washing clothes, when POW! ZAP! Thunder and lightning...sprinkles then heavy rain. I ran out to the barn and started putting the horses in. Mustafa and Dream didn't get it and kept running from the pasture to the outdoor arena. I ended up closing the gates so they could be caught. By then, it looked like I had taken a shower. They were in for about 40 minutes when the sun came out...just long enough to mess up their stalls and the evening hay. Put them back out. No masks...figured it would rain again (and there was a breeze). Went down to the bank and got back in time for lunch before my class arrived.

Phoebe and Gucci did their thing for Tina....
Above is a photograph of Sandy's pastel drawing...Tina grabbed it from my Journal and printed it.
Jean finished her squirrel, and Donna was almost finished with her big cat.
Cooper and Finn went to the dentist this afternoon and stopped in around 2:30 with Jenny.
Even Grampa got into the swing of things.

Every day more flowers bloom....

Jenny had to go over to a friend's house to get some ground cover for her garden, so they left around 3:30.
Finn sends you all this wonderful greeting.

By late afternoon the clouds were (once again) quite spectacular.

After getting soaked, Dream and her boyfriend rolled in the mud.
I picked the pastures....
and went out to do chores around 7:15.

I cropped this photo of the indoor to get a feel for what it would look like with the light primer.
Found a grey that matches the other barns...just may go for it.

Back in the house around 8 and now I am going to crawl into bed and see if "The Good Wife" is a new episode.

Night all.
