We left the farm a little before 7 and the clouds looked like cotton balls.
Took 490 on our way to Penfield.
A little of the Rochester Skyline....
and my favorite bridge.
We knew we were there when we saw the balloons and cars all over the place.
We have know Miles since he was about 2 years old. Our back yards butted up to each other.
He and Jenny went through school together...they even went to the same college...Fredonia.
Anyway, his wife (Michelle) wanted to have a very special party for him, and the theme was around the world with Miles Watts. They had food stations set up all over the house from different countries. This one was Italy.
Downstairs the lights were all blue with tons of decorations and more countries to visit.
This was Mexico. When we are not using this space, it is a recording studio.
Lots of Corona in that location.
The place was jammed with at least 75 people. The man below is the lead guitarist in the band.
He is a Prof at St. John Fisher College...you saw him before when we had the band in the barn.
I can't remember the woman's name either...she works at the same college and was helping Michelle with the party.
Below is Michelle. She is the wife of Miles and did one heck of a job setting this up.
One of the guests just wanted his picture taken!
Miles sings a lot of blues and likes to wear this kind of a hat.
He has also written a lot of music.
Below is our friend Dan...a great landscaper and expert when it comes to trees and plantings. It was great to see him at the party.
Above is Mile's Mom and Stepdad.
Jenny wanted to make a face at me when I took her picture.
Check out the video below. It is Miles Watts and the Brothers From Other Mothers.
Miles is a teacher, the regular drummer is an engineer, the bass player is an electrician and the guest drummer is a Prof at Harvard. I already told you about the lead guitarist. They set up the band off the living room and the acoustics could be better.
It was a lot of fun. Night all.
