They could be doing something else, but they all have a passion for singing...and they are good at it! Please take a minute to listen to their incredible voices.
This is a video of the combined choirs at Brockport High School. Each year they like to present one piece that is of the highest level. They chose Mass No. 2 in G Major by Franz Schubert and memorized the entire piece in Latin (it lasted for more than 20 minutes). I hope you enjoy this excerpt as much as I did.
Wow they are very talented!
ReplyDeleteLoved it! Thanks for sharing Lori!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lori. That was lovely. It's really good to hear youngsters singing. It is very difficult, these days, to recruit young people to sing in choirs over here. Make the most of them.
ReplyDeleteWarm regards, Mike and Ann.
P.s. Engineer finally put finishing touches to my computer this morning, and, as you'll have gathered, we're back on line.
Cheers, Mike.
Beautiful! Noone in my family can sing. I swear we are all tone deaf. Coyotes howl when they hear us even try. lol!
ReplyDeleteWe all love music, though. And Schubert is a favorite. A few years ago, as one of our music appreciation weeks in our homeschool, we centered around studying and immersing ourselves in Schubert. That was a very good week. :)
