FOCUS...

More Skywatch Friday Photos.

Not grey this morning...

back to a beautiful sunrise.

Mild...

MUDDY...and once again all the rain messed up my outdoor arena.

Fortunately the sun was bright while I was cleaning stalls...let's see how fast the water disappears.

At 10:30 Tina and I went out to Marti's in Albion to put labels on all the drawings and paintings.
Kim did a fabulous job of hanging the show.

The quilt below was made by students many years ago and it is like a logo to us. It says "Skoog Farm Workshop" in the middle square....our banner. It goes with us whenever we show.

This is Kim, the owner of the gallery. She can't say enough about the impact it has had on her (in such a positive way). By next year there will be three floors.

Can you see our "Peace Rocket" hanging in the window behind Tina?

It didn't take long to get everything done.

We went next door to Kim's side of the house so Tina could see a painting she has been working on.

Once again I got sucked into those fish...

I could take pictures of them all day long.

Love the colors.

After that, the three of us went down to a local coffee house and had a very leisurely lunch.

Got home around 2 and started on some pasta sauce for dinner. I highly recommend this one.
Start with a little olive oil, throw in a couple of chopped onions (maybe a clove of garlic)...add 2 red peppers diced and some mild Italian (turkey) sausage. Brown. I added two packages of homemade sauce from our garden, and a large can of crushed tomatoes. Salt, pepper, a little sugar. Simmer to blend all the flavors, and stir in some pecorino romano cheese. Serve over the pasta of your choice. Believe me, this is a great tasting sauce.

The dogs and I went out to do chores, then came in to eat (they like eating spags too).

Left the house at 6:30 to go to a concert in Kendall presented by the Community Chorus.
It was a fun night!

They really seem to have a ball performing.

Above is the Valley Girl.

Below is Bob Ryan, the owner of a local grocery store (and a fine singer).

Home by 9 and now I'm done for the day. Night all.
