RAIN RAIN GO AWAY....
One! Two! Three! Go..... open the door!!!!! Time to do chores!!!!!
Grey, mild and an easy morning. Gary helps me every Saturday and Sunday.
He put Phoebe in the yard before he came out to the barn....but noooooo, Gucci wanted to stay out with me.
Finally, she was ready to go in. "Open the gate Mom!!!!!!!"
One of the chairs was not under the table, so Miss Mountain Goat thought she should use it to climb up there and relax while waiting for a chipmunk to come along.
Next, the three of us went down to Wegmans while I picked up some groceries. Gucci likes to sit in the way back and watched me put my bags in the car.
Around 1 it started to rain, so I had to go out and put sheets on the horses. Winnie went to Glen Darach for a lesson with Darrin.
While I was out there...Jen, Finn, Cooper, Ice and Buster showed up. She wanted to take the dogs for a run down the lane. Of course they got soaked.
Gucci and Phoebe were smart enough to stay in the house with Coop and me.
When it was snack time, Finn wanted yogurt topped with granola and Cooper wanted popcorn and lemonade.
They were happy to spend some time by the fire.
We also played a game of Sequence (which Finn won).
Jen is managing a campaign for a candidate running for County Legislature. He was in the neighborhood and stopped to pick up an umbrella. All this time, Gary and his friend Randy were on a tour of cobblestone houses in the area. Just when he got home, Jen and the kids (and dogs) left.
Trina did the chores and I took a shower, as we were meeting Randy and Arlene for dinner at Sam's Diner in Holley.
We have not had a chance to go out with these two great friends for months.
Now we have to get back to our Sequence challenges.
Home before 8. Getting ready to watch a show at 9 on the food channel. 4 local guys who tailgate at the Buffalo Bills games are challenging 4 guys who tailgate at the Chicago Bears games. Can't wait to see what happens. Night all. I just may have to post some of this competition later.
Gucci is quite the character. I'm glad she found a forever family with you. Ug! I still need to remember to buy that Sequence game!
