When I let the dogs out this morning, it looked like this.
Very dramatic....
There must be a bog nearby.....
Finished chores early and worked on the gardens in the front of the house. They are out of control....can't wait until the whole thing is covered in ivy.
At noon I left for Batavia (a nearby town) for a dentist appointment.
The office is located in a beautiful old house on Main Street.
The front is well landscaped....
The interior is in keeping with the outside.
This is Dr. Marchase...the dentist (and well worth the drive).
The hygienist does a great job...just needed a cleaning.
Below is their command central.
I went home the back way...let me show you what I saw.
The farm above is classic.
We have many stone and stucco houses in this area. They are very old.
Pretty soon they will harvest all this cabbage.
Nice to see cows out in a pasture instead of stuck in a "factory barn."
When I got home, Abbe and I did a little work. This time I put on the whole harness. She was a very good girl.
Evening chores.....
Gary painted until it was almost dark. Things are going to really start looking good after tomorrow when he has more time. That red will be gone!
Took off the masks. It's getting dark so early now. Couch time....Night all.
Yes, it certainly does get dark early. I can't seem to find enough daylight to get things done outside after work. That sure is a nice looking place to go to for the dentist.
ReplyDeleteWhat about dark or chocolate brown for the door color? I am with you about the green and the purple. Not so pretty. I love that little shop. It's going to be great when it's done.

Our very first apartment was up over Russ's dentist office----it belonged to Dr. Mulcahy---we had a Main and Ross Street side apt.---Jim walked up Ross to teach at the middle school---Chrissy spent the first 4 years of her life there---beautiful apartment-----small world----Sara
