SUNDAY STILLS - ANIMAL HUSBANDRY

If you have seen my Journal, you know I am a horse nut.  I have taken hundreds of photographs of these beautiful creatures.  These are our horses.

This herd is part of the 70 or more miniature horses at a local farm.  Their barn looks like a huge ranch house and there are even curtains in the windows!

This is part of our herd earlier this week.

Every August, the largest driving competition in the US, if not the world, is held near here
at Walnut Hill and goes by that name.  On the last day, there is a pleasure drive through Mendon Ponds Park, and they turn out in all their finery.  What an opportunity for taking photographs.

We were able to experience the elegance of old....

The participants come from all over the country.

The horse on the far left (Tori) belongs to a friend, and he won his division.  If you have any interest in horses, this event would impress you in every way.
