UNDER THE WIRE....

Gucci loves going to the barn in the morning (or any time).  She can jump up on the hay in the feed room and will go all the way up to the ceiling if she can.

No beautiful sunrise this morning....just grey.

I picked up Gary at 11:30 and we drove over to the Hilton Community Center to get our taxes done.  We've never gone there before, and it was a free service!  What a deal...and much appreciated.  The person who did it for years is cutting back, so we had to find someone new.
This was suggested to us by a friend and I would definately go back.  When we were finished, we stopped at a local restaurant for lunch.

It has to been the cleanest restaurant I have ever seen.

We both had a sandwich and split pea soup.

Finally got home around 3:20 and could not wait to get outside.

For some reason, Gucci thinks she can go up to the horses faces and legs, and has even put her front feet on them.

By now (of course) it was raining.

After a late dinner, I sat down to watch some TV and fell asleep for about 2 hours!  What does that tell you?

And Fe, you asked about the political scene....Our Town Supervisor resigned and was in court today for tax related issues.  Quite a scandal in our community and a sad situation for his family....to see it on TV every hour has to be tough.

  1. You and Gary are SO romantic! I am sorry to hear about the scandal. I tend to think about the family in these situations too. I wonder how many would take the chance if they had a clear understanding of what it would do to their families. Great strings on your playlist.

  4. I'm guessing the horses don't do anything when Gucci jumps up on them? Great that they are tolerant of her.
