Jenny helped me with chores while Gary supervised the kids. It is generally dark when I finish in the barn. Since the night light decided to quit I am using the lights on the front of the horse barn. I love the look of them so much better than the yard light.
Good gravy! What was made for dinner tonight???? Boneless skinless chicken breasts baked in a marinade of Kikoman Soy Sauce with Good Seasons Italian Dressing....a splash of orange juice and brushed with honey mustard. Surrounded by baby carrots and onion...so juicy and tender. Did you ever make lomain? It is so simple. I put about 4 inches of water in a pasta pot...add soy sauce and boullion (tonight it was chicken). Bring to a boil and throw in a pound of thin spaghetti (break the pieces in half). When it is just about done, turn off the heat...cover and let sit for 1/2 hour. All the liquid will be absorbed and the flavor is great. I threw in some frozen peas when I turned off the heat.

Jenny made a salad with baby spinach, a few mixed greens, pears and crumbly blue topped with a homemade Italian dressing. Delicious.
