SNOW TODAY, 45 TOMORROW...

I am still waiting for the ground to freeze so I can get some hay delivered.

  1. Lori, let me know when the hay comes, I'll help if not working. You're blog is getting a lot of attention, I'm filling in for a 4th & 5th grade teacher, and the students have been looking at your blog to write short stories, draw/art and do math. "Mrs. Skoog has been given a 100x200' piece of property, she wants to make two pastures of equal size, how much fence does she need, and how many posts if 6' apart? Design her pastures and hardware list". I'm glad it's lunch time and then Phys Ed. I'll get a chance to catch up my planning etc. This is tough for one who is not a teacher, but a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you for the inspiration.

  2. I'm beginning to think that your weather is far worse than mine. It may be -31 today, but it's dry. The back and forth from snow to mud would drive me nuts. So messy!
