WELCOME WINNIE....
Winnie arrived early afternoon and Masterpiece turned into a fresh, raving maniac. She will be separated from the other horses for awhile and then worked into the herd. For now, all of the geldings are very interested in the new babe and are acting 20 years younger. I haven't seen this kind of energy in ages. Winnie's family has been most supportive and helpful in this move and look forward to learning more about what it takes to care for a horse. Boot Camp is coming up! (Are you ready Justine?)
Justine says: "Mrs. Skoog, I guess as ready as I'll ever be, or I'll lose a horse. Dad reminded me her name is Winnie, not Whinning."
Dad says: "we've already gotten a lot of mileage out of, "there will be no whinning, and boot camp". Thank you for all your time and patience today. We hope Winnie and us are not too much of a pain."
Very pretty. She sort fo looks like she is saying, "OK - what's with the camera?" :-)
