THIS AFTERNOON....
Today the high was 23 degrees and it was windy. Ouch! I'm trying to figure out how to be more efficient with my hay cube preparation, as it is so cold outside it can't leave it in the barn when I soak it or it will freeze. As it is, I keep my beet pulp in the back hall...now I will have to prepare the hay cubes in the house too. Buckets everywhere! I pull it all out to the barn on a little sled.
Lori, I just love to look at your journal, I am suddenly addicted. It makes me feel warm inside, all the peaceful photos of the ponies and beautiful Phoebe. And all the pictures you take of the skyline are so unique and never seem redundant, isnt that so amazing! Have a good weekend. Christy Q
I know you've had horse a lot of years, and you have been talking about getting your system for feeding worked out. Is the beet pulp and hay cubes a new thing?
