A NEW AWARD....

Some of you may think this award stuff is a little over the top, but I have to say that it is a pure pleasure to be recognized by someone who has taken an interest in your blog.... In this case, Lynda, at Food Fun and Farm Life in East Africa (who lives in a home overlooking Mt. Kilimanjaro) has selected my Journal and has followed me on many of my adventures.  Thank you so much!

The rules for the Premio Dardos award are:

This award acknowledges the values every blogger shows in his/her effort to transmit cultural, ethical, literary and personal values every day.

The rules to follow are:
1)  Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person that has granted the award and his or her blog link.
2)  Pass the award to 15 other blogs that are worthy of this acknowledgment.  Remember to contact each of them to let them know thy have been chosen for this award.

I would like to nominate the following blogs for the Premio Dardos award:

Coyote Road, because of Fe's ability to express herself in a way that is so interesting to read.
She is articulate, creative, tuned in to the world and makes a lot of sense to me.  She also has spunk and goes the extra mile.

Spartacus Jones, not only because he writes well, but for the great sensitivity he has for horses.

Ishtar News, because Esther and her work in Niger has been a real education to me....and because I absolutely love her new RR puppy Sheba and new foal Isolde....not to mention she is a Swede!!!

Farm Blogs Around the World, which was started by Ian Walthew, a writer who lives in France and has made the effort to start a site for some of the most interesting farms around the world.  We are honored to be one of them.

  1. Wow, so many nice reasons! Thanks, Lori! I'll pass in on later this week - together with the one I just got from Fe!

Warm greetings to all your horses and a Sheba hug from Phoebe!
