TRAIL RIDE...

Today I decided to do something for myself, so I put Berlin on the trailer and we went out to Hamlin for a trailride.  There were about 15 of us, and my horse was very jiggy when we started out.  On the way back I could ride her on the buckle.  Everyone else rides Western except for me...on my Dressage Saddle (which I would not trade for anything).  About 70 degrees and another perfect day. First, we rode through the woods, and worked our way over to Partyka's Farm Market/Ice Cream stand. We entered from the back where they were sorting apples. Nancy held her horse and Berlin while I went in to get an ice cream, then we switched.  This was a very good experience as we went through orchards, by tractors and big trucks, farm equipment, goats, llamas, geese, a mini and pile after pile of palettes used to hold all the apples that were being picked.  At one point, I could smell the plums that were left on the trees...very sweet.

Ummm ... what's riding on the buckle? (And stop laughing!) :-)
