SPEAKING OF DINNER...

Just before dark I went out to the garden and picked some spinach...then I warmed up some leftover veggie lasagna from last night, made a salad (everything from our garden) and brought out some bread made by a friend and local mass baker (who happened to bring 4 or 5 loaves yesterday).  Yummy dinner.

  1. Wow! That has me drooling! Although my husband did make a wonderful dinner of moose steak and baked potatoes while I worked with Elijah on his science project the babies ate most of my plate so I'm still hungry and that looks good! :)

  2. Hi Lori
Sorry I haven't popped in to say hello lately, but things have been pretty hectic here in Africa !
Homemade things & produce from your very own garden always tastes the best, doesn't it ? Your spinach looks lovely, we don't get that variety here easily.
Have a wonderful week, & pats for that special dog of yours ;)

  3. Your dinner looks lovely, and I love the idea of eating your own produce. Although we don't have a vegetable garden, we have a wide variety of edible leaves growing in our garden, that I harvest and use in our solar cooked recipes. The edible leaves vary in taste, but most of them are mild and resemble spinach.

PS: Sheba and Isolde sends their hugs!
