IN MEMORY OF JOSH

This was the day.  Our vet was kind enough to come up to the farm this morning to put Josh to sleep.  It was time, and we are so lucky that he would come here.  It's the tough part of having animals, but I would not trade one minute of the time we had with him.

  2. isn't that the hardest? after i had to put my last dog down, i said no more. i didn't want to go thru that pain again. but, of course, since having animals are part of my genetic dna and i can't seem to help myself in this area, i now have 3 cats and 2 more dogs. *sigh*

josh was beautiful. sorry to hear about his loss.

  4. Oh Lori -
I had started to believe that the medicine would keep working for a while. Perhaps it gave him a bit of comfort. I am sorry for your loss, and believe he is running through sunlit fields, and not giving way to the horses.

  5. so sorry Lor, you were so brave yesterday. What a day is right. We all missed Josh, and somehow sensed that this had happened. His greeting to all of us who come for art will be sadly missed.
