THE GARDEN AT REMEMBRANCE PARK

This hot, sticky afternoon several of us went down to Park Ave. to work on the garden around Jennifer Hecker's sculpture.  Fortunately we found out that one of the neighbors, who planted the East side of the garden, will be reproducing it on the West side.  So....we spread out some mulch, did some edging and planted some hostas.  In one hour we did a lot.  Alicia brought her Mom (The Diva) down to see us.  She is back home after spending the winter with her daughter in St. Louis.  Look forward to her return to class on Tuesday.  We are finishing up this park and will be installing a Mule next to the Main Street bridge in the next few weeks.  After that, the Art & Aesthetics Committee is going on leave and will fold back into the Walk! Bike! Action Group.  In a short period of time, we brought a lot of art to Brockport.

  1. I think you must belong to at least fifty organizations, all designed to add something to something. I feel like a slacker just reading of your adventures. And then you mow a 2 acre lawn!
