LAKEVIEW CEMETARY

This past week one of the members of our chorus passed away.  Yesterday we went to sing at the service....Songs like "When the Saints Go Marching In,"  "Everybody Wants to go to Heaven (but nobody wants to die)," "Rock of Ages" and "Swing Low, Sweet Charriot."  Stan was 72 years old, but a free spirit who would insert his own things into performances...maybe playing the harmonica or going into a dance.  It was the right thing for us to do and added a lot of spirit to the moment.  Singing is truly good for the soul...
